Item Selection And Assessment Of Drug Addiction TCM Syndromes PRO Scale

Objective:This study is to develop the PRO scale applied to the drug addicts in clinical evaluation. And through the clinical investigation, revise and assess the reliability and validity of the scale, and make it being the indicator of evaluation of clinical curative effect of TCM in drug addicts, meanwhile help doctors realize the TCM cause and place of disease for drug addicts, and formulate TCM treatment plan and guide clinical drug use better.Methods:Delete the selected item by discrete trends method, project analysis method, the Cranbach’s coefficient method, correlation coefficient method and other statistical methods, and forms the early scale by optimize the inventory structure. Use the primary scale in the clinical investigation to assess the reliability and validity of primary scale. The reliability assessment include internal consistency reliability assessment and 1/2 assessment. Validity appraisal use confirmatory factor analysis for the structure validity examination.Results:Merge liver dimension and qi stagnation dimension, phlegm dimension and wet dimension, remove item 55 (often abdominal pain) under blood stasis dimension, item 23 (eyelid edema) under yang deficiency dimension, entries 35 (bad) defecate under liver dimension during item screening process. The drug addiction TCM syndromes PRO primary scale consists of 10 dimensions and 47 items group. In reliability, coefficient of total scale of Spearman-Brown is 0.985, and the split half coefficient of ten dimensions are 0.777,0.910, 0.800,0.710,0.880,0.721,0.736,0.689. Each dimension and the summary of the split half reliability coefficient are more than 0.7. In construct validity, the goodness of fit index of total table is 0.826, each dimension of qi deficiency, liver, Yang and Yin deficiency, phlegm, kidney, blood deficiency, blood stasis are respectively 0.958、0.935、0.907、0.945、0.909、1.000、 0.979、1.000, which are greater than 0.9.That suggests that construct validity is trusted.Conclusion:According to the results of the assessment of scientific, it proof scale has good reliability and validity. Scale can be used as a clinical efficacy evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome standard for drug addiction.
