Relations Between Regulated Neck Skin Temperature Record And Thyroid Diseases

Purpose and Significance The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between the changes of skin temperature at the measurement point and thyroid disease when using the method of temperature-regulated records.Methods The study used the method of temperature-regulated records for 54 thyroid patients and 29 healthy people, recorded the changes of their skin temperatures after a temperatue regulate. The temperature control apparatus using a recording system CRT2000. Using the chi-square test on statistical methods, single direction variance analysis, t-test and so on.Results The statistics was grouped according to pathological results, divided into benign group, carcinoma group and controlled group. The benign group was proved insufficient to regulate. The carcinoma group was detected abnormal changes in skin temperature. After statistical analysis, there are differences between the three groups. No significant difference in thyroid adenoma and nodular goiter temperature difference in the benign group. According to the diagnostic temperature recommended, the consistency with the diagnosis of benign and carcinoma consistency were 65.3% and 82.8%, with statistical significance.Conclusions The results of this experiment suggest that changes in skin temperature regulation and thyroid disease occupying a correlation, there are also differences between benign and carcinoma thyroid disease. This method may be able to help diagnose thyroid disease and identify benign and carcinoma thyroid disease.
