ObjectiveThe aim of this issue be to search a new target or direction for treating RA patient and boost the development of traditional Chinese medicine, basis on deeply study the pathogenesis of blood stasis by TxA2.Methods1. Frequency analysis was used for literature research. The drugs were standardized before typed-in the EM platform frequency analysis module for data processing.2. Clinical research methods included information collection and ELISA. We collected the basic information, disease activity score of 28 joints (DAS28) score related information and drugs used history; ELISA method were used to detect the expression of TxB2 in patients with RA and healthy people. The statistical correlations between serum TxB2 levels and DAS28 was calculated.3. Basic research methods included cell culture, MTS, PCR, Western Blot, oto.Results1. Literature research:196 kinds of herbals were occurred in all 161 medical records, which counted for 2099 times. The frequency analysis results proved that antirheumatic, blood-activation chinese medicine and tonic drugs were the most common used medicine in bi syndrome. At the same time we found blood-activation chinese medicine were widely used in treatment bi syndrome. The rate is up to 96.91%.2. Clinical research:Serum TxB2 level was significantly higher in RA patients as compared to healthy controls. Both DAS28 score and serum TxB2 levels were slightly lower in DMARDs group than non-DMARDs group, without statistical significance, and there was positive correlation between these two factors.3. Basic research:BM567 significantly suppressed cell proliferation as well as expression of α-actinin, NF-kappa B2 p52 and COX-2 in MH7A.ConelusionAntirheumatic, blood-activation chinese medicine and tonic drugs were the most common used in treating bi syndrome. The widely use of blood-activation chinese medicine prompts that blood stasis may involve to the important pathogenesis of bi syndrome. TxA2 plays an important role in RA pathology, synovial cell proliferation in particular, through an auto-regulatory feedback loop. Thus, targeting TxA2 may represent a promising add-on therapy in the treatment of RA.
