The Study Of The Clinical Research Is To Use Modified Shenling Baishu Powder To Protect Intestinal Mucosa Barrier Function In After Abdominal Operation

ObjectiveIntestinal is not only the important site for digestion and absortion, but also play an crucial role on adjusting the immune system. Many studies about trauma, shock or tumor indicated that the morphology and functional state of intestinal mucosa will change under the stress environment. Then intestinal infection will be induced because the damaged of barrier function. The patients after abdominal operation are in one kind of stress environment and their barrier function are impaired. It will be problems on their recovery and living quality if we fail to protect their barrier function. The clinical researchs and animal studies in the protect barrier function of patients after abdominal operation, but the role of traditional Chinese medicine is not very clear now. So the aim of this study is to monitor the changes of barrier function indexes related to intestinal mucosa before and after surgery, the clinical research is to use Modified Shenling Baishu Powder to protect intestinal mucosa barrier function in after abdominal operation.MethodsWe choose 60 cases with of abdominal operation patients in the surgical ward of our hospital as objects of this study. Group by lot to simple random;divided into treatment group (n=30) and control group (n=30). Control group was given enteral nutrition drugs, Fresubin, and Grutamine Granules western medical treatment. Treatment group was given enteral nutrition drugs, Fresubin, and Modified Shenling Baishu Powder. Monitoring the changes of permeability, PCR and C-reactive protein concentrations indexes related to intestinal mucosa before and after treatment. Then analyze the role of traditional Chinese medicine in protecting the barrier function of intestinal mucosa.ResultsThe barrier function of intestinal mucosa in both control group and treatment group be better after treatment, but the treatment group significant better than control group on the improvement of the barrier function of intestinal mucosa. The specific detecting results of the barrier function of intestinal mucosa as follows:1、Intestinal mucosa permeability indexes of treatment group was obviously different as compare with those control group after abdominal operation (P<0.05) and treatment group had significant improvement.2、Gut bacteria translocation negative rate indexes of treatment group was obviously rise different as compare with those control group after abdominal operation (P<0.05), and treatment group had significant improvement.3、C-reactive protein concentrations was obviously rise both control group and treatment group, which reach to the highest levels on the first postoperative day, then occurred a gradual decline. C-reactive protein concentrations of control group was obviously decline different as compare with those treatment group after abdominal operation (P<0.05).ConclusionThe results of this study indicated that using Modified Shenling Baishu Powder on the basement of enteral nutrition drugs with Fresubin therapy after abdominal operation, it is obvious to reduce Intestinal mucosa permeability indexes, Gut bacteria translocation negative rate indexes (L/M, D-lactate) and the changes of C-reactive protein concentrations, which curative effect was superior to conventional western medical treatment, therefore, it is effective and no significant adverse reactions that use Modified Shenling Baishu Powder toprotect intestinal mucosa barrier function in after abdominal operation, and it is security that was widely used in the clinical research.
