| Modern hospital is equipped with a large number of sophisticated medical devices which plays an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Strengthening management of medical devices helps to guarantee the scientific decision making on purchasing, to improve utilization of medical equipment, to operate its valuable function, and to upgrade level of management and service.Literature review was employed to analyze the current situation in management of medical equipment, and four models were summarized and clarified. On this basis, analytic hierarchy process was used to construct a general evaluation of index system of medical equipment management, by expert scoring to set the weight, and calculated byYAAHP7.5.It was analyzed that the present situation of medical equipment in maternal and child hospital A, with finding of the main problem:knowledge, attitude, leader’s attention and concept are almost keep in pace of times, but the practice of management theory is still to be improved. As a tertiary hospitals at provincial level, professional medical equipment personnel, performance appraisal and incentive mechanism is insufficient. In the information environment, lack of information tracking, monitoring, automated statistical analysis. Effective use of data to support scientific decision-making is insufficient and need to be enhanced. After reviewing the evaluation system of the hospital, specific problems were diagnosed and analyzed, according to the general evaluation system of medical equipment management. It is proposed for the improvement of these problems those are the introduction of modern scientific management theory, raising of medical equipment management personnel, improving the scientific management and decision level by using information technology. The research results of this study is of strong practical and reference value in standardization of management, improving and reducing the risk of the medical equipment use. |
