Clinical Observations Of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy Combined With Recombinant Human P53 Adenovirus Injection On Middle-late Type Giant Piece Of Cervical Carcinoma

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical effects and safty of intensity modulated radiation therapy(IMRT)combined with recombinant human p53 adenovirus injection in the treatment of Middle-late type giant piece of cervical cancer. Methods Twenty-five patients with middle-late type giant piece of cervical carcinoma were divided randomly into the treatment group( IMRT combined with P53 Gendicine injection) and the control group(single IMRT),with twelve and thirteen cases in these groups. Recombinant human P53 adenovirus intratumor injection 1 time on every Friday,with a total of 4 to 5 times.Radiotherapy plan of two groups was in agreement.Immediately and two months after treatment,CT or MRI was reviewed to observe the change of tumor volume.ResultsThe immediately effect after the end of the two groups of patients show that:The total effective rate was 66.67% in the treatment group,and the control group was 30.77%(Exact Sig.(2-sided)P=0.115,Exact Sig.(1-sided)P=0.081),there was no significant difference in effective rate between both group.However,the results of the end of its two months treatment is ideal,the tumor subsiaded is significantly in the treatment group after the treatment,while the control group is dissatisfied.In the treatment group(twelve patients),CR was in 7 Patients(58.33%),PR 3 Patients(25.00%),and the effective rate was 83.33%,in the control group(thirteen patients),CR was in 3 Patients(23.08%),PR 2 Patient(15.38%),and the effective rate was 38.46%。The effective rate of treatment group was higher than that of the control group,there were significant differences(Exact Sig.(2-sided)P=0.041,Exact Sig.(1-sided)P=0.029)。In addition, the quality of life in most patients is improved after active treatment。About adverse reactions,11 patients Presented transient low fever and 12 patients transient pain in injection region, the other side effects in this two groups were the same。ConclusionsThe IMRT combined with recombinant human P53 adenovirus injection n the treatment of middle-late type giant piece of cervical cancer is safe with better curative effect compared with single IMRT。...
