OBJECTIVE Investigate the 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging features of lymphoma and gastric carcinoma.METHODS Retrospective analysis the PET/CT images on 22 malignant lymphoma patients and 31 Gastric Carcinoma patients’ whole body 18F-FDG whose pathology are verified and processed in our hospital. Select the maximum standardized uptake value from standard SUV, Target/Non Target ratio, stomach lesion general situation and size of nidus (product of maximum cross section of length, wide, height) as detection indicators. Analysis the collect statistical data.RESULTS1.Gastric lymphoma lesions were more likely to occur in the gastric body(15/22), in case of gastric carcinoma lesions were more likely to occur in the antrum (18/31).2.18F-FDG PET / CT imaging showed:gastric cancer group and gastric lymphoma group images are different traits and different levels of gastric wall thickening increased glucose metabolism as the main feature. In group gastric lymphoma, the X±s value of the SUVmax, T/NT value and approximate calculation volume were:11.47±8.11,9.36±5.40 and 219.49±498.33. In group gastric carcinoma, the X±s value of the SUVmax, T/NT value and approximate calculation volume were:6.50±3.77,4.74±3.90 and 21.52±24.00. Gastric carcinoma lesion volume and lesion SUVmax are correlated (R value= 0.409, P value=0.022). The normal control group SUVmax, T/NT value X±s, respectively: 1.49 ± 0.52,2.18 ± 1.01. Gastric lymphoma group, SUVmax gastric carcinoma group and normal control group, T/NT were statistically significant pairwise comparison, P values were less than 0.05.CONCLUSION1.Gastric lymphoma lesions were more likely to occur in the gastric body(15/22), in case of gastric carcinoma lesions were more likely to occur in the antrum (18/31).2.Gastric lymphoma and gastric carcinoma parietal can exhibit different properties increased thickening of the lesion with varying degrees of glucose metabolism. Gastric lymphoma and gastric carcinoma T/NT value and SUVmax was significantly higher than the normal control group, T/NT value and SUVmax of gastric lymphoma was significantly higher than that of gastric carcinoma.3.18F-FDG PET/CT imaging in the differential diagnosis of gastric lymphoma imaging studies on gastric carcinoma has important value.
