Objective To determine the level of di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP) in the serum and urine of type 2 diabetes patients and Normal control group difference, explore the relationships between one of plasticizer DBP and type 2 diabetes.Method The concentrations of di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP) in serum and urine of 45 type 2 diabetes patients and 45 normal people without diabetes were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) determination and then did correlation analysis between them, and analyzed the correlation of age, sex.Results1.The average serum content of DBP in type 2 diabetes group was 1.693±0.273ug/L,and the data in urine was 0.530±0.275ug/L; accordingly, the average serum content of DBP in normal people without diabetes group was 1.432±0.129ug/L,and the data in urine was 0.535±0.196ug/L.Compare with constituent ratio between diabetes patients and non-diabetic group of DBP content in serum, the composition in diabetes group were higher than in people without diabetes group; however, compare with constituent ratio between diabetes patients and non-diabetic group of DBP content in urine, DBP content and composition in diabetes group than non-diabetic population groups have no obvious difference.2.Tthe differences in the concentration of serum with phthalic acid dibutyl and type 2 diabetes, there was no obvious correlation with age, sex in the test sample. Conclusion The findings in this cross-sectional study showed that there are high relationship between the level of DBP pollution concentration and the diabetes patients’ serum is serious than non-diabetic ones, that demonstrate the stimulation of exogenous chemicals involved in the development of diabetes, DBP can be used as a pathogenic factor for type 2 diabetes, to expound the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus that under the stimulus exogenous chemicals to provide an experimental basis. |
