ObjectivesTo learn the epidemiological characteristics、survival condition and its influencing factors of elderly people living with HIV/AIDS patients who receiving highly active antiretroviral treatment (HAART). So we can provide a scientific basis for the elderly people who living with HIV/AIDS.Methods:By using the method of retrospective study, we chose the samples whose age more than 60 years old from Liuzhou who received highly active antiretroviral treatment from January to December in 2010. By the end of follow-up, we collected 154 cases. Using the life table to calculate the overall survival rate, Kaplan Meier to analysis the single factor which log-rank to significant differences in survival curves suggested, and using COX regression to analysis the multiple risk factors.Results:1. Males are the mainly people in this study, the ratio of male to female is nearly 3:1; The average age are 65.72 ± 4.82; 59.09% of them are han nationality; Most of them are lower diploma which is under primary school; 55.8% of them are farmers or herders; 73.38% of them were married; 98.7% people are infection by heterosexual sexually transmitted.2.81.8% of elder people living with HIV/AIDS patients can begun HAART within 3 months while them confirm their disease; 71.4% of cases the baseline of CD4+ T lymphocyte count 200 or less; Initial treatment mainly for:AZT+ 3TC+EFV/NVP (47.4%) and D4T+3TC+EFV/NVP (44.2%); 46.1% of them were with three or more case of opportunistic infections; the clinical stage of WHO:stage Ⅰ were 19.5%、stage Ⅱ were 24.7%、stage Ⅲ were 30.5%, stage Ⅳ were 25.3%; 71.4% of older people living with HIV/AIDS patients cases treatment does not change during the process of treatment; 77.9% of older people living with HIV/AIDS cases treatment process can take medicine on time and follow-up, maintain good compliance.3.154 case of elderly people living with HIV/AIDS patients the median surial for 60 months, the average survival time was 40.92 months. After HAART, the cumulative survival probability at 12 months,24 months and 36 months, more than 48 months were 81.40%,79.32%,77.88%,74.21%,74.21%.4. Single factor analysis showed that:age, whether to use compound new north Ming prevention of opportunistic infections, baseline CD4+T lymphocyte count, treatment process whether replacement therapy, medication adherence, whether merger opportunistic infection factors such as the difference was statistically significant. The single factor analysis was statistically significant variables into COX proportion model of risk to get the result is a new, age and whether to use compound Ming prevent opportunistic infection is a risk factor, age, shorter survival time after treatment. Do not use compound new north Ming prevention of opportunistic infection of elderly people living with HIV/AIDS patients, treatment of shorter survival time; Baseline CD4 levels are independent protection factors for elderly people living with HIV/AIDS patients, the higher treatment at baseline, treatment effect, the better, the longer survival time.Conclusion:1. Older people living with HIV/AIDS patients confirmed age, start the longer treatment time; the higher the risk for death. Tips should be as soon as possible to strengthen the old tests and monitoring, to delay the effect of the process of people living with HIV/AIDS patients died.2. Baseline level of CD4+T lymphocyte count is affecting older people living with HIV/AIDS patients with independent factors affecting the survival time after antiviral treatment, for older people living with HIV/AIDS patients confirmed, regardless of the level of CD4+T lymphocyte count for much, should immediately carry out HAART.3. The compound new north Ming to prevent the use of opportunistic infections are older people living with HIV/AIDS patients survival time after antiviral treatment of impact factor, strengthen the use of compound new north Ming can effectively slow disease progression in patients with elderly people living with HIV/AIDS, reduce the case fatality rate.4. Further improve the ART of older people living with HIV/AIDS patients compliance, enable antiviral treatment to achieve better effect.
