TCM Patterns And Syndrome Regularity Research Of Menstruation At Irregular Interval

Objective:1 The aim of research is to summarized the ancient and modern literature on TCM patterns and syndrome regularity research of menstruation at irregular interval.2 Based on the previous literature research and clinical questionnaire survey, we use the statistical analysis of the data to understand the changes of syndrome of menstruation at irregular interval compared to the ancient documents and materials, and provide the basis for further the research on the syndrome of Gynecology.Method:1 Literature Research①Books Literature: using "Chinese Medical Dictionary" as the retrieval tools; hand searching: the inverted method; Retrieval approach: using literature and author approach, such as book title, Literature title, paper title and author, editor, translator; key words: Irregular menstruation, menstruation at irregular interval, the disorder menstruation, menstruation delay etc. Retrieval of books: the library of Hebei Medical University, the library of Hebei Province, Xingtai Medical College library. Retrieval time: from Tang Dynasty to now.②The reported literature: method of machine inspection: Using China academic periodical full text database, China master theses full-text database as the retrieval database; Retrieval approach: theme approach, mean major content of required documents, such as subject index, keyword index; key words: irregular menstruation, menstruation has not periodically, the disorder menstruation, the menstruation delay, and the free words. The retrieval time: from 1982 to 2013 years.2 Clinical questionnaireThe clinical questionnaire of irregular menstruation use multi center clinical epidemiological investigation method.For avoiding the area difference, we select China’s Jiangsu(East), Guangdong(South), Sichuan(West), Liaoning(North), Hebei(Middle) provincial hospitals and clinics, and survey 240 cases of irregular menstruation to investigate clinical epidemiology syndrome distribution in January 2009 to December 2013.After collecting the questionnaires, we establish formal questionnaire database. We entry the questionnaire data to Excel table, establish related databases, use SPSSl7.O statistics description of frequency and the syndrome of statistical ratio.Result: 1 literature research 1.1 literature research results indicates that each dialectical method has certain guiding significance in menstruation at irregular interval, but base on past literature description and some experts on the individual experience, lack the methods of modern scientific research and support of technology and statistics 1.2 The syndrome distribution characteristics of menstruation at irregular interval in literature studyStatistical literature results suggest: the main syndromes of menstruation at irregular are: kidney deficiency, stagnation of liver qi stagnation of the liver qi, spleen qi deficiency, blood stasis and blood heat type. 2 The result of clinical questionnaire surveyThe result of clinical questionnaire survey shows that the frequencies of menstruation at irregular interval are(from high to low):Liver stagnation and kidney deficiency, liver stagnation, kidney deficiency, liver stagnation and spleen deficiency, damp and heat, spleen qi deficiency, heat caused by yin deficiency, spleen and kidney deficiency, blood stasis, liver and kidney deficiency type.Conclusion:Using the method of questionnaire investigation and clinical literature research, the study of irregular menstrual cycle system to carry out a preliminary. The conclusion is follow as:1 Using the literature research method, discusses the classification and symptoms of menstruation at irregular interval, from the overall grasp of the laws of its research and development direction.2 Through literature research, statistical analysis combined with the results of clinical questionnaire, study the syndrome characteristics of menstruation at irregular interval of different syndromes and its characteristics.3 Through the comparison of the books, literature and clinical survey, the research found that, in recent years, menstruation at irregular has new type of syndrome,such as: liver stagnation and spleen deficiency type, damp heat type, internal heat due to yin deficiency, spleen kidney two deficiency and liver and kidney deficiency syndrome; and the sort of change; especially there is no record of damp heat in the previous literature.4 Through the investigation of the literature and clinical symptom questionnaire, the result of the research lays a foundation for development of future of menstruation at irregular intervals standard, and explored the methodology of the study of TCM Syndrome.
