Objective: This paper analyzes the expression of TRAIL which is in normal ovarian tissue, benign epithelial ovarian cancer, ovarian cancer and different stages of ovarian cancer by detecting expression of TRAIL that is in normal ovarian tissue, benign ovarian epithelial tumors and ovarian cancer. The paper investigates the correlation between TRAIL expression in different ovarian tissue and ovarian cancer in different stages. This paper compares and analyzes the relationship between TRAIL and drug-related factors MDR1, LIVIN,TOPOⅠ, TOPOⅡ, PTEN, ERCC1 and screened out resistance factors related TRAIL and laid the foundation for predicting drug resistance in ovarian cancer and preliminary clinical medicine. Methods: Expressions of TRAIL in epithelial ovarian cancer(50 cases), benign epithelial ovarian tumors(10 cases) and normal ovarian tissue were detected and distinguished with normal ovarian tissue.Results:1 The expressions of TRAIL which is in ovarian tissue, benign epithelial ovarian tumor tissue, and ovarian carcinoma in TRAIL. There are ten positive expressions in ten cases of normal ovarian tissue(TRAIL) and positive expression rate is 100%(10/10); There are nine positive expressions in ten cases of benign epithelial ovarian tumors and positive expression rate is 90%(9/10); There are 29 positive expressions in 50 cases of ovarian cancer and positive expression rate is 90%(29/50).The expressions of TRAIL which is in normal ovarian tissue, benign epithelial ovarian tumors and ovarian carcinoma showed a decreasing trend, the difference was significant(2? =9.307, P=0.01<0.05).2 TRAIL positive expression inⅠ, Ⅱ, period of ovarian cancer. There Ⅲare 12 cases of positive expression in 16 cases of ovarian cancer of Ⅰperiod and positive expression rate is 75%(12/16); There are 9 cases of positive expression in 15 cases of ovarian cancer of Ⅱperiod and positive expression rate is 60%(9/15); There are 4 cases of positive expression in 19 cases of ovarian cancer of period and positive expression rate is 21%Ⅲ(4/19). The positive expressions of TRAIL which is in ovarian cancer Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲstage showed a decreasing trend, the difference was significant(2? =10.968; P=0.004<0.05).3 Correlation between TRAIL and drug-related factors. Expression between MDR1 and TRAIL have a negative correlation( r=-1, P=0); Expression between LIVIN and TRAIL have no correlation( r=0.105, P=0.895); Expression between TRAIL and TOPO have no correlatⅠ ion(r=-0.8, P=0.2); Expression between TRAIL and TOPO have no correlation(r=Ⅱ-0.798, P=0.26); Expression between TRAIL and PTEN have no correlation(r=-0.861, P=0.23); Expression between TRAIL and ERCC1 have no correlation(r=-0.801, P=0.21).Conclusion:1 The positive expression rates of TRAIL in ovarian cancer were signifi-cantly lower than in normal tissue and benign ovarian epithelial ovarian tumor tissue. The reason may be related to the promotion of apoptosis and inhibition of tumorigenesis.2 The positive expression rates of TRAIL drop with ovarian cancer staging increasing. TRAIL may be involved in the inhibition of proliferation of ovarian cancer cells and involved in the molecular mechanisms of tumor cell apoptosis of epithelial ovarian cancer.3 There was negatively correlation between TRAIL and MDR1 and there was no significant correlation between TRAIL and LIVIN, PTEN, TOPOⅠ, TOPOⅡ, ERCC1.
