The Clinical Researeh Of Cang Er Zi Powder Modified By Nasal Irrigation For Chronic Rhinosinusitis Treated After Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

Objective: By observing clinical efficacy of using tutor’s empiric prescription,Cang er zi Powder,,modified with Syndromes,nasal irrigation with its decoction,applied on treating chronic rhinosinusitis after functional endoscopic sinus surgery(FESS),it aims at investigating the action and related mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicine in relieving nasal symptoms,recovering nasal function and reducing relapse to find more ideal Chinese medical treatment and prescription of chronic rhinosinusitis after surgery,to provide better traditional Chinese medical reference and effective treatment principle.Methods:The follow-up observed cases were 70 patients of chronic rhinosinusitis in hospital,including 35 patients in the treatment group(FESS+conventional treatment before and after surgery+ nasal irrigation treatment with decoction of traditional Chinese medicine),35 patients in the control group(FESS+conventional treatment before and after surgery+ nasal irrigation treatment with NS).The improvement in related indicators after surgery including symptoms,signs and nasal mucociliary transport rate,etc,before surgery,after lweek,5 weeks,9 weeks,13 weeks of surgery were recorded respectively,efficacy after 13 weeks of surgery was analyzed, and the above recorded data was compared and analyzed.Results: 1.After 13 weeks of FESS,the cure rate of the treatment group was 100.0%,the overall efficiency was 94.3%,the cure rate of the control group was 77.1%, the overall efficiency was 88.6%.By statistical observation,there was significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).2.By statistical observation at total score of symptoms and signs in 5 weeks,9weeks,13weeks after FESS between two groups,there was significant difference between treatment and control group,improving the clinical symptoms and signs of chronic rhinosinusitis after sugery (P< 0.05),there was statistical significance.3.By statistical observation at the nasal mucociliary transport rate in 5 weeks,9weeks,13weeks after FESS between two groups,there was significant difference between treatment and control group,improving the nasal mucociliary transport rate of chronic rhinosinusitis after sugery (P< 0.05).Conclusion: 1.It is showed that,by comparison in symptoms,signs and nasal mucociliary transport rate of two groups,there was certain effect in the treatment and control group in reducing symptoms,signs and restoring nasal function,the effect of Cang er zi Powder modified by nasal irrigation is better than that of NS by nasal irrigation.2.By comparing efficacy of the treatment and control group in 13 weeks after surgery. it is indicated that the efficacy of Cang er zi Powder modified by nasal irrigation is better than that of NS by nasal irrigation.3.Cang er zi Powder modified applied to treat chronic rhinosinusitis after surgery which is safe, effective,provides new clinical ideas for the comprehensive treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis after surgery and is worthy of promotion widely.
