PPAR Gamma And Obesity-induced Inflammation

Obesity is considered to be pathaological of fat cell aggregation,and is the most important health problems in modern society,with the increasing of diabetes,hypertension,hyperlipidemai,are closely related.As is well-known,high-fat diet could lead to overwight and eventually lead to obesity,but also cause low levels of chronic inflammation. Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor is the member of the nuclear receptor transcription factor superfa milyto regulate gene expression. There are three kins of PPARs isofor m: PPARalpha( NR1C1), PPARbeta/delta( NR1C2) and PPAR ga mma( NR1C3),they are widely expressedin macrophages,dendritic cells,T cells and Bcells.PPAR ga mma is mainly expressedin adipose tissue andi mmune syste m, it is relatedtoinsulin resistance, adipocytes differentiation and bodyi mmunity.In recent years, the relationship bet ween PPAR ga mma andinfla mmation gradually has bec ome a hot researchtopic. As a me mber of the nuclear receptor superfa mily â…¡type,PPAR ga mma c ombined withligands could regulate the expression of a variety of intranuclear target genes,a large part of its biological value associated withthe function of the target genes.In clinic,PPAR ga mma is known as therapeutic targets for type 2diabetes andthe metabolic syndr ome.Studies s hows that, obesityis often foll owed with l owlevels of chronic infla mmation. This paper s ummarizes the research progress of relationship bet ween PPAR ga mma and obesity-inducedinfla mmation.
