Objective: Through the comparative analysis of mild and moderate traumatic brain injury patients with cognitive function and homovanillic acid in the serum of the patients with(HVA),3-methyl-4-hydroxyl benzene ethylene glycol(MHPG),and 5-hydroxyindole acetic acid(5-HIAA)content of metabolites of the relation between three kinds of monoamine neurotransmitters,to explore theleading causes of cognitive impairment in patients with mild and moderate traumatic brain injury,and it provides scientific support for future treatment for cognitive dysfunction caused by mild and moderate traumatic brain injury.Method:1 Experimental study design:According to the severity of injury in the research object,according to different GCS scores for the three groups,the GCS score 9-11 group,GCS score of 12- 13 group,and GCS score more than 14 packets.The study object is included in the packet,the day of the generaldata acquisition,the morning of the second day the fasting venous blood collected from theunified, after sent to the hospital laboratory for testing, experimental study on index at the same time,by the author through Mo CA scale on cognitive function in two groups of subjects ofinvestigation study on scale,before the investigation,the researchers on the scale number,which should be relatively and blood samples,and then on the Mo CA scale,the results of the survey of the statistical analysis,to further explore the relationship between cognitive function and monoamine neurotransmitters in patients with mild and moderate traumatic brain injury.2 Statistical methods:Full text in data processing and analysis are used SPSS18.0 statistical software for statistical processing,statistical analysis of four table exact test and X2 test used incount data,set the P<0.05 for the difference between the two groups was significant;the analysis of variance statistics used in the mean between,there is significant difference the p<0.05 between the two groups;t test used in the serum homovanillic acid(HVA),3-methyl-4-hydroxyl benzene ethylene glycol(MHPG),and 5-hydroxyindole acetic acid(5-HIAA) testprocessing content difference, Through Sperman rank correlation analysis, multiple stepwise regression analysis were mild and moderate traumatic brain injury patients cognitive function and the content of monoamine neurotransmitters of correlation analysis.when p<0.05 as the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.Results:1 GCS score 9-11 points 5-HIAA and HVA of plasma monoamine product was significantly lower than the GCS score of 12-13 points and over 14 group(P<0.05) and the GCS score, plasma MHPG content and 9-11 points were significantly higher than that of GCS score of 12- 13 andmore than 14 packet(P<0.05);2 Different age groups,Mo CA,HVA,5-HIAA and MHPG three kinds of monoamine neurotransmitter catabolite did not show significant difference(p>0.05);3 GCS score 9-11 points of the ttal score of Mo CA and every subentry scores was significantly lower than that of the GCS score of 12-13 and more than 14 packet(P<0.05);4 GCS score and total score of Mo CA was positively related with every subentry scores(P<0.05);5 The content of HVA and 5-HIAA positive research object Mo CA score and the object of studying two kinds of serum monoamine neurotransmitter catabolic related,and negatively correlated with the content of MHPG,the correlation coefficient r were respectively 0.251,0.361 and 0.316.The p value were 0.015,0.029 and 0.037.Conclusion:1. Patients with mild and moderate traumatic brain injury does exist in the excitability of theperipheral sympathetic nerve,and increased plasma monoamine neurotransmitter abnormalities,and can reflect the monoamine neurotransmitters in the brain of the state,the changes of plasma levels of neurotransmitters may serve as an important reference index ofmild and moderate traumatic brain injury degree and effect evaluation.2. Cognitive function and the content of monoamine neurotransmitter there is correlation betweenmild and moderate traumatic brain injury,the higher HVA and 5-HIAA content more height,MHPG content in serum,cognitive function of patients with worse.
