Clinical Efficacy Of Acupuncture Combined With Tincture External Application Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Purpose:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with tincture external application treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation, and seek more efficacy solutions, symptoms and indicators were observed.Materials and methods:A case of this study comes from June 2013 to October 2014, the Affiliated Hospital of Putian University rehabilitation department, the Western diagnosis, the diagnosis of lumbar disc herniation patients met the inclusion criteria to be included in 60 cases. According to the order of treatment, using a random number table,60 patients were randomly divided into two groups, treatment group,30 patients in the control group of 30 patients. The treatment group received acupuncture combined with TDP irradiation treated control group using conventional electro-acupuncture therapy. Clinical observation time before treatment, after the course of treatment two weeks after the end of the course of treatment, the use of VAS (visual analogue pain score), JOA low back pain disorders evaluation criteria and Syndrome quantitative criteria for the classification of symptoms and signs were scored.Results:None of the adverse reactions in clinical studies and accidents.60 patients underwent six months to nine month follow-up, the mean follow-up of 7 months. Two groups of patients before treatment JOA score was no significant difference in the two groups of patients after treatment, symptoms or disappear, back pain scores were significantly improved, the treatment group than the control group.Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment of lumbar disc herniation is of simple, convenient, fast, little injury, effective etc. Combined with infrared radiation thetapy, the clinical effect is more obvious early in the disease and acute phase.
