Objectives:Oral lichen planus(oral lichen planus, OLP) is a more common type ofchronic inflammatory diseases in the oral mucosal disease. The oneset of OLP is only lessthan RAU. It is a recurrent disease which also have congestive erosion, and difficult to cure.OLP is a kind of precancerous condition. The specific causes of OLP are not clear. A largenumber of studies have shown that OLP is a kind of autoimmunity diseases with Tlymphocyte-mediated.This study of expression levels of TL1A and IDO in the peripheral blood mononuclearcells between healthy people and OLP patients is detected by FQ-PCR. Investigatingexpression and significance of TL1A and IDO in the oral lichen planus. Seculating the effectof TL1A and IDO in oral lichen planus. Methods:Real time fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR was performed to measure TL1AmRNA and IDO mRNA expression in PBMCs of30cases with OLP and30healthy controls. And β-actin was used as internal control. The comparison of gene expression level wasapplied with the formula of delta delta Ct.Results:1. The relative level of TL1A mRNA expression in PBMCs of OLP patients wasstatistically higher than that of healthy controls. After statistical analysis, there was a statistical difference (P <0.05). The relative level of TL1A mRNA expression of OLPpatients is1.7872times than the healthy controls.2. The relative level of IDOmRNA expression in PBMCs of OLP patients wasstatistically higher than that of healthy controls. After statistical analysis, there was astatistical difference (P <0.05). The relative level of IDOmRNA expression of OLP patientsis2.0763times than the healthy controls.3. In the group of OLP patients, analysing the expression levels of TL1A and IDO geneby Pearson linear correlation, correlation coefficient is0.124,(P=0.515>0.05), so there isno statistically significant correlation between two sets of data.Conclusions:1.Compared with the healthy controls and the OLP controls, the level ofTL1A mRNA expression of PBMCs is significantly augmented in OLP controls. The TL1Amay be involved in the process of pathogenesis of OLP.2.Compared with the healthy controls and the OLP controls, the level of IDOmRNAexpression of PBMCs is significantly augmented in OLP controls. The IDO may be involvedin the process of inflammation of OLP.3. In the group of OLP patients, there is no statistically significant correlation betweenthe expression levels of TL1A and IDO gene.TL1A and IDO play the roles with indirectways.
