Objective by detecting MA level, to understanding the metabolicsyndrome patients’ MA level changes and its influence factors, and toexplore the correlation between MA level and target organ damage.Methods90people were selected,1/3of them were healthy ones,1/3ofthem were with metabolic syndrome, and without diabetes,1/3of themwith both metabolic syndrome and diabetes. Rapid immune turbidimetricmethod is used to measure the MA level. Using the standard clinicalbiochemical method measure the triglyceride(TG), total cholesterol (TC),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoproteincholesterol (LDL-C), fasting blood sugar (FBG), uric acid(UA),ureanitrogen, creatinine, and calculate the endogenous creatinine clearance(Ccr).Using philips IE33color Doppler ultrasonic cardiogram to measureinner diameter(LV), interventricular septum (IVS), left ventricularposterior wall thickness(LVPW),then calculate the left ventricle weight(LVM) and left ventricular mass index (LVMI);Using transcranialdoppler to measure MCA and ICA’s blood flow velocity and pulse index. Results (1)the MA level of MS group was higher than the control group(P <0.05), the MA level of DMS group was obviously higher than that ofMS group (P <0.05);(2) according to the waist, after divided into three groups, with the increase of the waistline, MA level showed a trend ofincrease (P <0.05);According to the body mass index(BMI),the men weredivided for three subsets, MA level was increased with BMI increasing.according to the presence of high blood pressure, after divided into2groups, high blood pressure patients’ MA level was on the rise (P <0.05).Divide into2groups according to the presence of diabetes, diabetic group’sMA level was on the rise(P<0.05); According to the presence of high bloodtriglycerides are divided into two groups, with increased triglyceride levels,MA levels was on the rise (P <0.05); According to HDL-C level wasdivided into two groups, MA levels is decreased with the higher HDL-C(P <0.05); with the increased of MS components, trend of MA level wasincreased obviously (P <0.05).(3) the result of multiple linear correlationindicated that the MA level was negative correlated with WC, SBP, DBP,TG, and were positive correlated with HDL-C(P<0.05);the result ofMultiple regression analysis showed that BMI,TG,DBP,FBG,HDL-C couldmake an independent effect on MA level.(4) the MS group’s LV, IVS,IVPW, LVM, LVMI were significantly higher than the control group (P <0.05), DMS group’s IVS, IVPW, LVM, LVMI was much higher than MSgroup (P <0.05); Creatinine clearance of DMS group was lower thannormal control group and MS group (P <0.05); MS group’s internalcarotid artery, middle cerebral artery blood flow speed is lower than the control group (P <0.05),compared with MS group, DMS group’s bloodflow speed is much lower(P <0.05);(5) Compared with normalalbuminuria group, with the increased of MA level, LVMI, MCA, ICAblood flow velocity were reduced(P <0.05). When MA level>40mmo/l,Ccr level was statistically decreased(P <0.05).(6) the result of multiplelinear correlation indicated that the MA level was negative correlated withCCR, MCAvs, ICAvs (P<0.05);the result of Multiple regression analysisshowed that ICAvs could make an independent effect on MA level. Conclusion (1) the patients with metabolic syndrome have a high MAlevel than others;(2) the metabolic syndrome components is close to MAlevel, MA may participate in the development of metabolic syndrome;(3)MA level can predict the severity of organ damage in patients withmetabolic syndrome.
