Background and Objiective:1.To investigate the diagnosticfeatures of ultrasound and CT imaging of bladder tumor andevaluate the value of ultrasound and CT in diagnosing bladdertumor.2.To discuss the related factors of misdiagnosed casesby using ultrasound and CT and the complementary effect ofthese two imaging methods.Methods:1.Sonography and CT findings of148cases whichwere pathologically proved as bladder tumor wereretrospectively analyzed in order to evaluate the differencesbetween benign and malignant bladderlesions. The evaluation ofultrasound mainly included the number, orientation, size, shape, echo, calcification, continuity of bladder wall, blood supply and the surrounding tissue. While the evaluationof CT mainly included the number, orientation, shape, calcification, slipperiness of bladder wall,CT value, degreeof enhancement and the surrounding tissue.2.15cases misdiagnosed by ultrasound and17cases misdiagnosed by CTwere reviewed in order to discuss the related factors and thecomplementary effect of these two methods.Results:1.The orientation, continuity of bladder wall, bloodsupply, slipperiness of bladder wall and the CT value hadsignificant difference in the differential diagnosis of benignand malignant tumors (P<0.05). CT was superior to ultrasoundon the diagnoses of invasion and metastasis of bladder tumor(P<0.05).2. Size of tumor related with the misdiagnoses ofultrasound and CT (P<0.05). The diagnostic rate could beincreased to95.71%by applications of combining ultrasoundand CT.Conclusions:1. Ultrasound and CT can be useful fordiagnosing bladder tumors. Benign and malignant bladder tumorshad some features in ultrasonography and CT images. Size oftumor related with the misdiagnoses of ultrasound andCT.Diagnostic accuracy of bladder tumor could be improved byapplications of combining ultrasound and CT.
