Objectives: The research is to provide basis foundation of different therapeuticoptions by understanding the severe hepatitis patients’ life quality, affecting factorsand the cost-utility condition of conservation therapy through collecting the reports ofMedical outcome study short from36scales, SSRS, SDS and the cost-utilityquestionnaire.Method:①The study helps to know and master the life quality of the severehepatitis patients at home and abroad, the research status of pharmaco-economicsand the newest advance in the study by literature studying.②The study shows thesurvey and the analysis of the life quality and the effecting factors from312severehepatitis patients who were under treatment in four third class hospitals in Shanghaifrom January in2012to August in2013by the common condition questionnaire,Medical outcome study short from36scales, SSRS, SDS based on the literaturestudying.③The study demonstrates the condition of the total cost, total utility andthe rate of the cost-utility from284discharged patients who were diagnosed withsevere hepatitis in four level-three hospitals in Shanghai from March in2012to Junein2013by Medical outcome study short from36scales and the self-designed costquestionnaire.Results:①The research reveals it is statistically significant when the lifequality of severe hepatitis patients compared to norms by analyzing the data of it andprompts that their life quality is lower than normal people’s.②The research analyzethe demographic characteristics of the patients has influence on the score of PCS andMCS by single factor analysis. The result reveals that the influence of the age, havinginsurance or not, the types of the insurance, the quantity of the complications, thetypes of the disease and so on upon the score of both PCS and MCS has statisticallysignificance. And it is statistically significant whether taking antiviral therapy onlyhas impact on the score of PCS. But the effect of the sex, the monthly income, theresidence and so on upon PCS and MCS has no statistically significance.③MultipleLinear Stepwise Regression shows that the age, the quantity of the complications isthe most important influence on the score of PCS and shows a negative relation. Andthe quantity of the complications and having insurance or not is the most important influence on the score of MCS and also shows a negative relation. The result of thecorrelation analysis finds a positive correlation between the severe hepatitis patients’social support and a negative relation with the depression rating scale and the score ofPCS, MCS.④The result shows that the total cost of the severe hepatitis patients is(42806.67±3896.45) CNY, and the total utility is1.33, so the rate of the cost-utility is32185.47CNY/QALYs.Conclusions: As the severe hepatitis patients’ life quality is lower than normalpeople’s, their life quality should be intervened actively. And the age, havinginsurance or not, the quantity of the complications, the social support and so onshould be considered during the intervention. So that targeted therapeutic plans can becarried out. Otherwise, the cost of medical conservative treatment is still higher, especially drugs’expenditures,so we need pay attention on it.
