Objective:To study the current situation of Echinococcus granulosus infection and risk factors on human cycstic echinococcosis in Hoboksar Mongolian Autonomous County in Xinjiang, Some scientific evidences would be disscused for effective prevention or control policies for Hygienic administration. Methods:Using cluster sampling methods,1857inhabitants from6commune (pasture) of Hobukesar Mongolian Autonomous County were chosen for investigation,inhabitants were survey which included questionnaire、abdominal ultrasonic scan and serological test,Analysis risk factors of cycstic echinococcosis.38local dogs were necropsied.A total of126dogs were sampled,and all samples were analyzed by coproELISA.The coproELISA positive samples were analyzed by coproPCR.180sheeps were ultrasonic scan. Result:The prevalence of human echinococcosis was6.40%(119/1857), including6.19%(115/1857) cystic echinococcosis(CE),0.21%(4/1857) alveolar ehinococcosis(AE).The total seropos-itivity was11.79%(219/1857). Risk factors were implemented by multi-factors logistic analysis. The results showed that possible risk factors for positive serum might be sex、 age and race.Of the38dogs necropsied,20had Echinococcus spp. CoproELISA positives was39.68%(50/126),50positive specimens were detected by CorproPCR,26were positive results.The overall average deworming rate of dogs were only49.20%(62/126).Sheep infection rate was15.55%(28/180). Conclusions:Our results showed that the prevalence of echinococcosis、seropositivity of human、the infection rate of dogs、 the infection rate of sheep were at a high level, There are lots of works to do both for humans and animals.
