Objective:To measurement of normal knee parameter of Uyghur and investigate its clinical significance and instructive significance in the design of total knee arthroplasty prosthesis. Methods:According to the inclusion criteria recruit100volunteer, CT scan examinations were performed in100knees of Uyghur(53males,47females,range18-68years, average34.1years), then3-D morphology reconstructed by AW4.4, and measurement and recording(left or right knee was selected randomly):patellar thickness, angle PT, angle FT, distance of tibial plateau to fibular head(DPF). When the values were obtained, they were statistically analyzed based on gender. And we compared them with Chinese data. Results:The normal knee parameter of Uyghur:patellar thickness (male:22.67±1.40mm female:20.70±1.41mm), angle PT (male:4.64±0.61°female:4.23±0.55°), angle FT (male:4.85±0.84°female:4.33±0.58°), DPF (male:9.75±1.70mm female:8.13±1.80mm), Significant differences existed between male and female for all the above four parameters. Except DPF no Significant differences existed between Uyghur and Chinese for the above parameters. Conclusion:During take total knee arthroplasty, including patellar replacement to Uyghur, for ensure the operation accuracy,it should not directly refer other race related parameter. The race and sex difference should be taken into account when design domestic knee joint prosthesis.
