Clinical Research On TCM Combined With Chemo-treatment For Middle/Late Gastric Carcinoma

Objective:Investigation on clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine to middle/late gastric carcinoma.Putting emphasis on observation of the influence of Chinese herbal medicine towards to middle/late gastric carcinoma life cycle and symptomatology of traditional Chinese medicine science in clinically,observing the symptomatological mutation of before and after giving the traditional Chinese herbal pharmacological intervention and parameters change of life cycle of middle/late gastric carcinoma,to provide clinical proof for further treatment improvement to middle/late gastric carcinoma.Approach:Randomly dividing80involved standards-compliant clinical research objects into2groups as treatment group and control group,giving the traditional Chinese herbal combined with chemo-treatment and sole chemo-treatment separately,all research objects are inpatients or outpatients from Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region hospital of traditional Chinese medicine,48males and32females of80,age ranges from35to69,the average age is52.Methods:200ml traditional Chinese herbal decoction taken orally twice a day,treatment will last for4weeks as one course of treatment.Recording the state of illness before and after2courses of treatment respectively.Observing,statistical analyzing and comparing the variation of index life cycle,symptomatology of traditional Chinese medicine science,and Karnofsky score.Result:1. The life cycle of patients can be extended both of treatment and control group,the life-cycle extension of treatment group is obviously better than control group (P<0.01).2.Symptoms of both group has been improved,the treatment group reflects better improvement especially on hypodynamia,inappetence,Oinsomnia,abdominal tympany,hypogastralgia,etc(.P<0.05). Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine treatment for middle/late gastric carcinoma could effectively extends the patient’s life cycle,improves the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine science,and make patients’life better.So the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine has significant healing effect for middle/late gastric carcinoma.
