Objective:Lipid metabolism is an important risk factor for atherosclerosis and abnormal thyroid function can cause changes in body weight and lipid metabolism, promote the progress of atherosclerosis. But the impact of thyroid function within the normal range for atherosclerosis is still controversial. In this study, based on data obtained during normal thyroid function in our hospital patients hospitalized with coronary heart disease, research and analysis euthyroid patients with coronary artery disease carotid artery intima-media thickness (IMT) and serum thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) levels correlated. Methods:Randomly selected from July2012to July2013in our hospital223cases of normal thyroid function in patients with coronary heart disease in hospital, extraction of venous blood, respectively, to determine the TSH, TG, TC,HDL-C,LDL-C, apolipoprotein A1, apolipoprotein B. At the same time measure the BMI and IMT values. According to the reference range of serum TSH levels and measured values list can be divided into high TSH, medium TSH group and the low TSH group. According to the European hypertension guidelines IMT0.09cm as thickening of the carotid artery intima-media standard list can be divided into IMT<0.09cm normal group (IMT) and IMT acuity0.09cm group thickening (IMT). Were compared between groups.Results:(1)the IMT thickened group age, BMI, TG, TC, LDL-C, apolipoprotein B, TSH levels were higher than in normal IMT group, the difference was statistically significant.(2)different TSH level grouping betweenTG, TC, IMT was statistically difference. Conclusion:In this study, normal thyroid function in patients with coronary heart disease age, TG, serum TSH levels were independent risk factors for IMT further correction BMI, TC, LDL-C, the lipid-laden B, ages, TG, serum TSH levels remain independent risk factors for IMT impact.
