Objective:To study the detection rates of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) and normal crowd of health examination cohort in Urumqi to further investigate the interrelation of the two diseases. Methods:Using simple random sampling method,to the nonalcoholic fatty liver disease of health examination cohort in urumqi as early screening,normal crowd as control group,the screen out of the crowd were detected by questionnaire survey,biochemical test,abdominal ultrasound etc.Analysis different nonalcoholic fatty liver disease from normal crowd in the prevalence of irritable bowel syndrome,compared the difference between the two groups with irritable bowel syndrome,and then the date was analyzed by rank-sum test,single or multiple factor logistic regression analysis.Results:The detection rates of IBS in normal crowd was12.5%and23.2%was IBS in NAFLD,there was significant difference between the normal and NAFLD(P<0.01);The severity of NAFLD caused by the detection rates of IBS that was significant difference(P<0.05) and the difference existed between mild,moderate and severe fatty liver.Our study indicated that body mass index(BMI)(OR=0.918),triglyceride(OR=0.855),fatty liver(OR=0.525) and national(P=0.316) might serve as the most important risk factorscon.Conclusion:The detection rates of irritable bowel syndrome was higher in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, IBS and NAFLD have a close relation.
