Objective:To value the clinical effects of injection sodium hyaluronate intra-anticular to temporalmandibular joint (TMJ) anteriordisc displacement with non-malocclusion. Method:The46patients who have TMJ anteriordisc displacement with non-malocclusion were injected into upper cavity and lower cavity of condyles with sodium hyaluronate. The therapy was accomplished for repeated three and four times once a week. After following up for6months, the effects of therapy were valued by MRI and orthopantomography examinations. Results:After treated to41patients, the clicking of joint in27patients was disappeared and6patients were relieved (80.49%), the pain of the joint in17patients was disappeared and3patients were alleviated (82.35%), the limited of mouth opening in6patients was cured and1patient was improved for5mm (83.33%). Conclusion:The method of injection with sodium hyaluronate is effectively to cure the TMJ anteriordisc displacement with non-malocclusion. |
