Naringin is one kind of effective drug always used for the treatmentof osteoporosis. The characteristic of nanofiber like it has very tinydiameters, very large specific surface area and so on, so it can be widelyused in biological medicine areas. Nanofiber can shorten the distant ofdrug spreading and improve the dissolution of drug. It can load the druginside the fibers which is used as tissue engineering scaffolds, and thefiber is also biodegradable. Electrospinning is considered as one of themost efficient method to prepare polymer nanofiber.In this study, the part of naringin package in nanofiber scaffold whichcontaining PCL and PEG-b-PCL by electrospinning technique. RP-HPLCwas established to determine the content of naringin. Try to explore theinfluence of naringin nanofiber membrane if add PEG-b-PCL, and find theoptimum ratio of naringin in nanofiber by determining the content ofnaringin and the weight-loss rate of nanofiber membrane. In this study, areversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic method wasdeveloped to determine the content of naringin in nanofibers and undergo systematic method validation. The result shows that when PEG-b-PCLadds into the nanofiber as a kind of releasing agent, the releasing rate ofnaringin can be controlled and the stability of the nanofiber structure willbe influenced also.
