Progress On Etiologic Researches Of Status Epilepticus

Status epilepticus is a common neurologicalemergency associated with high morbidity and mortality. The underlyingcauses are key factors to determine patients’ prognosis. Thus, it’s helpfulin improving the outcome of the disease to make an etiologic diagnosiscorrectively and to manage status epilepticus as soon as possilbe.This articlehas reviewed the progress on etiologic researches of status epilepticus inrencent yerars, including autoimmune encephalitis, drugs and abnormalsodium,and then discussed the possible pathogenesis.
