Objective: To discuss the relationship between Her-2proteinoverexpression and clinicopathological characteristics of gastricadenocarcinoma tissues. Methods: The clinical data of88cases of gastric adenocarcinomain-patient collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of ChongqingMedical University during Jan.2013to Feb.2014was analyzedretrospectively. And, patients were classified into gender group, age group, tumor site group, differentiation degree group, infiltration depth and lymphnode metastasis group. Then,a statistical analysis among groups was made. Results: The positive rate of Her-2proten overexpression was43.18%(38/88),The overexpression of Her-2protein was associated withtumor differentiation and regional lymph node metastasis (all p<0.05), butnot with sex, age, tumor site and tumor infiltration depth (all p>0.05).Conclusion: Her-2may be used to assess the development andprognosis of gastric carcinoma, and provides the theory basis for clinicalapplication of trastuzumab in gastric adenocarcinoma.
