The Expression And Significance Of LATS2and YAP In The Tissue Of Cervical Cancer

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of Large tumor suppressor homolog2(LATS2) and Yes-associated protein(YAP) in the tissue of cervical cancer.Methods The expression of LATS2and YAP proteins were analyzed by immunohistochemistry,40cases of cervical cancer tissue,15cases of CINⅡ-Ⅲ and12cases of normal cervical tissue were enrolled. To explore the relationships between the two proteins expression and clinical stage, pathological type, and lymphnode metastasis of cervical cancer.Results1、The positive rate of LATS2in normal cervical tissues、 CINⅡ-Ⅲ tissues and cervical cancer tissues were with a up-regulated tendency. Among the three groups, there were significant differences (P<0.05).2、The positive rate of YAP in normal cervical tissues、CINⅡ-Ⅲ tissues and cervical cancer tissues were with a up-regulated tendency. Among the three groups, there were significant differences (P<0.05).3、 In cervical cancer, the expression of LATS2in node-negative cases is significantly higher than node-positive cases (P<0.05), whereas no relations to clinical stage and pathological type (P>0.05).4、In cervical cancers, the expression of YAP in node-positive cases is significantly higher than node-negative cases (P<0.05), whereas no relations to clinical stage and pathological type (P>0.05).5、In cervical cancer, the expression of LATS2and YAP was negatively correlated.Conclusion1、In cervical cancer, the expression of LATS2and YAP was negatively correlated, they might be associated with the genesis of cervical cancer.2、The expression of LATS2and YAP may be associated with the lymph node metastasis of cervical cancer.
