The Expression Of MMP-2and TIMP-2in The Endometrium Of Patients With IUA

Objective:Investigate the expression of MMP-2and TIMP-2in the endometrium of patients with IUA and their relationship with IUA.Methods:Detect the expression of MMP-2and TIMP-2in the endometrium of60patients with endometrium adhesions and20patients without endometrium adhesions by immunohistochemistry.Results:1.The expression of MMP-2in endometrium with IUA was lower than the control group, There were statistical differences between them(P<0.05); The expression of TIMP-2in endometrium with IUA was higher than the control group, There were statistical differences between them(P<0.05).2.The expression of MMP-2in the endometrium of severe intrauterine adhersions was lower than that of the moderate intrauterine adhesions(P<0.05),and MMP-2in endometrium of the moderate intrauterine adhesions was also lower than that of the mild intrauterine adhesions(P<0.05).3.The expression of TIMP-2in the endometrium of severe intrauterine adhersions was higher than that of the moderate intrauterine adhesions(P<0.05),and TIMP-2in endometrium of the moderate intrauterine adhesions was also higher than that of the mild intrauterine adhesions(P<0.05).4.The expression of MMP-2was negatively correlated with TIMP-2in the endometrium of patients with IUA (r=-0.727,P<0.05).Conclusions:1.MMP-2and TIMP-2may have played a role in the occurence of IUA.2.The decrease of MMP-2and the increase of TIMP-2may be related to the severity of IUA.
