| Objective:To test the reliability and validity of the Uyghur version of aphasia battery ABU. Method:To select104Uyghur aphasia patients caused by cerebrovascular disease after we translated and back translated the Aphasia battery of Chinese (ABC) and did some language adjust and pretest. When the patients were admitted to the hospital, we did language function evaluation for them and classified and summarized the results. Then we applied reliability and validity research to test the battery. We did an evaluation second time for30aphasia patients among the104patients after they were admitted to the hospital for a week in order to test the test-retest reliability of the battery and we also use internal reliability and split-half reliability to represent the reliability of the battery at the same time. We also did a validity research of the the Uyghur version of aphasia battery:by inviting linguistic experts to translate and back translate the Aphasia battery of Chinese (ABC), and doing some language differences improvement and pre-test, we were able to test the content validity of the battery. At the same time, we used the method of extracting the common factor structure to test the construct validity. Results:The result of the research shows that the Uyghur version of aphasia battery is very reliable:in addition to the reading and writing part, the test-retest reliability of the other21parts was>0.7. The internal reliability coefficient (Cronbach a coefficient) of the total score and the score of the four split parts of the battery was>0.7. The split-half reliability of the battery was0.906. Factor analysis results suggested that the construct validity of the battery is good. Conclusions:In the end, we can draw into a conclusion that Uyghur version of aphasia battery has a good reliability and validity in diagnosing and classifying Uyghur aphasia patients. It is an ideal evaluation tool and has good application prospects to the majority of the Uyghur aphasia patients. |
