Objective:To explore the correlations between the abnormal belhem syndrome and lipid metabolism in traditional Uighur medicine. Methods:A total of933volunteers underwent differentiation for syndrome classification based on the hilit theory of Uighur medicine, divided into abnormal belhem syndrome group and non-abnormal belhem syndrome group, with their serum biochemical parameters, such as triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, creatinine etc, and height, weight, body mass index to find out the correlations between the abnormal belhem syndrome and lipid metabolism in traditional Uighur medicine. Results:Compared with non-abnormal belhem syndrome group, The triglycerides, weight and body mass index contents in the abnormal belhem syndrome group were higher than the former(p<0.05); high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and Creatinine in the abnormal belhem syndrome group were lower than the former(p<0.05). There are no different between the abnormal belhem syndrome group and non-abnormal belhem syndrome, such as total-cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, total protein, albumin, globulin, albumin/globulin, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase/aspartate aminotransferase(p>0.05).Conclusion:The Abnormal belhem syndrome cause the body have lipid metabolism disorders, such as more power source reserves, lack of energy storage.
