The Clinical Effect Observation Of Local "Aligned Point-through-point Acupuncture" To Reduce Partial Weight Of Simple Obesity Patients With Stomach-intestine Excessive Heat Type

Purpose:Explore the effective acupuncture points and the methods that reduce partial weight of simple obesity patients with Stomach-intestine Excessive Heat Type.Method:60simple obesity patients with Stomach-intestine Excessive Heat Type were randomly divided into the treatment group (local "aligned point-through-point acupuncture" combined with overall treatment based on syndrome differentiation) and the control group (overall treatment based on syndrome differentiation), and give electric-acupuncture respectively.Observe the changes of obesity index (weight, waistline, hipline, thigh circumference, calf circumference,biceps circumference, BMI, percentage of body fat) before and after acupuncture treatment. SPSS16.0software was performed in the statistical analysis.Result:After treatment, the patients’weight, waistline, hipline, thigh circumference, calf circumference,biceps circumference, BMI, percentage of body fat of two groups were all descended(P<0.01). After treatment, there was remarkably statistical significance between the two groups on weight and BMI(P<0.01).There was statistical significance between the two groups on hipline, thigh circumference, calf circumference,biceps circumference and percentage of body fat (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance between the two groups on waistline. Measure the total effective rate of the two groups by body weight, waistline, hipline, thigh circumference, calf circumference,biceps circumference, BMI and percentage of body fat, the treatment group were higher than the control group. With the nonparametric tests, there was remarkably statistical significance between the two groups when the total effective rate was measured by BMI (P<0.01).Conclusion:Local "aligned point-through-point acupuncture" combined with overall treatment based on syndrome differentiation has a better curative effect of treating simple obesity patients with Stomach-intestine Excessive Heat Type, especially has an outstanding effect in reducing weight, hipline, thigh circumference, calf circumference,biceps circumference, BMI and percentage of body fat.It indicates that local "aligned point-through-point acupuncture" combined with overall treatment based on syndrome differentiation has a better curative effect of treating simple obesity patients with Stomach-intestine Excessive Heat Type, especially the partial obesity.
