Objective:1.To explore clinical efficacy of the photon therapeuticapparatus on type2diabetic patients with peripheral neuropathy.2.Touncover the effect of photon therapeutic apparatus on quality of life andtreatment satisfaction in patients with type2diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Methods:1.This study takes the method of randomized, controlledtrial. While giving conventional nerve nourishing, improvingmicrocirculation treatment and nursing, adjuvant therapy with Carnation-11photon therapeutic apparatus was applied to one lower limb only of the20diabetes mellitus patients with peripheral neuropathy and compare thecurative effects by paired observation of the two lower limbs.2.Totally20patients on type2diabetic patients with peripheral neuropathy wereinvestigated with questionnaires. Compare the changes on quality of lifeand treatment satisfaction before and after the appliance of photontherapeutic apparatus.Results:1.The evaluation score of peripheral neuropathy droppedobviously with ankle reflex and thumb vibration sensation improvedgreatly after ten days of treatment and remained an unchanged follow-up test30days later, which means the clinical therapeutic effect of the treatedlimb was significantly superior to the comparison limb. The difference ofthe curative effects is statistically significant(p<0.05).2. The quality oflife and treatment satisfaction after treated with photon therapy wassignificantly superior(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.Conventional therapy accompanied by adjuvanttreatment of photon therapy can better the clinical symptoms and physicalsigns of diabetic patients with peripheral neuropathy, which can improvedcurative effect on diabetic peripheral neuropathy.2.Conventional therapyaccompanied by adjuvant treatment of photon therapy will improvecurative effect, the quality of life and treatment satisfaction of patients withtype2diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
