Osteonecrosis is a common and complicate ailment which involves various pathogenesis factors and has a high disability rate for which primary symptoms are swelling, pain, and limb mobility dysfunction. All ages can get this disease especially30-50years of age is more vulnerable. The Osteonecrosis is increasing recently and becoming a serious life-threatening illness which also increases the social economic burden. Therefore, it is now vital to find an effective way of cure for Osteonecrosis. Comparing with the western medicine treatment of bone necrosis, traditional Chinese medicine has a better therapeutic effect, lower price, and smaller side effects and other advantages. It needs more energy and resource to devoted into both scientific and clinical researches in the treatment of bone necrosis since traditional Chinese medicine has been proved to be therapeutic in numerous recent medical reports. Therefore, this study aimed to collect the relevant Chinese Medicine journals published in the past fifteen years for treatment of bone necrosis, compound drugs used by statistics, and then use statistical analysis for in-depth study of Chinese medicine treatment of bone necrosis and for the purpose of providing significant proofs of the efficacy of Chinese medicine for future researches in bone necrosis by treating with traditional Chinese medicine.Objective:The regularity of the application of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of bone necrosis.Method:This study collected relevant literature of Chinese medicine treatment of osteonecrosis of from1998-01to2013-01, using EXCEL2007and SPSS16.0statistical software for statistical analysis.Result:This study collected a total of87prescription drugs, a total of156flavor used in treatment, the total frequency of drug for1098times. The tonifying drug use frequency is highest, accounted for38.07%, blood circulation promoting medicine accounting for28.05%, followed by rheumatism medicine, antipyretics, warming medicine, diuresis, Shenshi medicine, and Qi medicine. Among the invigorating medicine, the use of frequency ranges from high to low are respectively blood enriching medicine, Qi invigorating medicine, Ying invigorating medicine, and invigorating medicine in general. Among the156kinds of Chinese herbal medicine, the prescription frequency of15Chinese herbal medicine are: Angelica sinensis (57); Achyranthesbidentata (45); Astragalusmembranaceus (41);(35), Radix SalviaeMiltiorrhizae Radix Rehmanniae (31)(30), liquorice, RhizomaChuanxiong, RhizomaDrynariae (30)(29), Radix dipsaci (28time), Cornusofficinalis (23times), EucommiaulmoidesOliv (23times), Epimedium(21times), safflower (20times), suberectspatholobus stem (19),(18).15kinds of medicine are energizing for kidney, liver, spleen most drug, and are mostly warm, neutral and sweet medicine.Conclusion:Through the analysis of the statistical frequency of use and drug compatibility rules of Chinese medicine to the results, investigating the medicinal regularities for treatment of bone necrosis. The statistical results showed that the compatibility of invigorating medicine and blood circulation promoting medicine are the most frequently employed or drug use frequency response for Chinese medicine treatment for bone necrosis in a certain extent, can be used as a reference for clinical treatment in the future. The theory of traditional Chinese medicine, according to "drug prescription and syndrome", is traditional Chinese medicine is to reinfore the congenital essence and acquired essence with the use of invigorating medicine in order to achieve the purpose of completely treating bone necrosis.
