ObjectiveTo investigate the improving situations and influencing factors of the effect of occupational hazards controlling after the relocation of superhard material construction, and to provide the basis for future prevention of occupational diseases by comparing the occupational hazards control effect before and after relocation.MethodOccupational Health SurveyIncluding the production process hygiene surveys:the investigation of the production process and basic overview of project operation, in order to determine the name of the various occupational hazards produced during the production process; Work environment hygiene surveys:the investigation of project site, the configuration of the production process, the overall layout, personal using of protective equipment, protective facilities which is set up to prevent or minimize occupational hazards, emergency rescue equipment and facilities; Investigations of the management of occupational health:including occupational health management organizations and personnel configuration, occupational health management system development and implementation of specific systems, occupational hazards of regular testing conditions, occupational health care workers, the occupational health management files and so on.Detection of occupational hazardsTo analysis occupational hazards in the production process and to assess the concentration or intensity of occupational hazards in the workplace and the protective effect of protective equipments under normal production conditions, according to"Specifications of air sampling for hazardous substances monitoring in the workplace","Determination of dust in the air of workplace ","Determination of toxic substances in the air of workplace ","Measurement of physical agents in workplace"," Measurement of lighting " and the other relevant national technical norms and standards requirements.ResultTest results:The concentration or intensity of ammonia, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, frequency electric field are in line with state regulations in both the routine testing before the relocation and evaluation after the removal.Dust and noise are exceeded factors. After the relocation, the TWA results of exposed to dust of Mixing workers, pressure bar workers, purification workers are less. After the relocation, the noise8-hour equivalent sound level of mixing workers and the pressure bar workers has reduced10dB. After the removal, the pass rates of individual dust and designated dust test results are higher than that of before the removal, X2=16.23,5.45, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant. There are no difference betweent the noise8-hour equivalent continuous sound level test results before and after relocation, X2=0.19, P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant.Occupational protective equipment:The new project has perfected the occupational protective equipments on the basis of pre-relocation, by installing dust collectors in mixing and pressing room, implementing wet work on crushing, milling position and setting acoustic enclosures around the machines which can make high noises.ConclusionThe concentration or intensity of ammonia, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide and frequency electric field are in line with state regulations in the new project. Dust and noise are exceeded factors. Compared with pre-relocation, the occupational hazards of dust and noise has been improved, mainly due to the supplement of occupational protective equipments and the implementation of the wet work.
