The Clinical Study Of Acusector Sihua Points With Scalp And Body Acupuncture In Treating Hemiplegia

ObjectionThis research was about clinical observation on sihua points with scalp and body acupuncture treatment of hemiplegia, standard the basic method of operation, inquire into the mechanism of acusector sihua points for the treatment of the disease.Methods60cases of hemiplegia were randomly divided into acupuncture sihua points with scalp and body group (the experiment group) and scalp and body group (the control group)on average. The experiment group were treated with acupuncture of sihua points with scalp and body acupuncture, the main point was the sihua points(Geshu, Danshu), the matching acupoint was temporal three needles and wisdom three needles which were on the affected side, and hand three needles and foot threes needles which were on the on the offside, all of this points will be on acupuncture at last. The points and the opration of control group were the same with the experiment group except the sihua points. Both groups were changing differentiation acupoints according to the symptoms. Both groups were treated every day,6times per week for2weeks, except Sunday. Both group would have the assessments of Neurologic Deficits Score and Barthel Index, and observe the clinical curative effect. Results The comparison of baseline for the two groups were consistent, which proved valid by comparison.(P>0.05).Comparison of the clinical efficacy:the total effective rate of the group of acupuncture sihua points was96.67%, the total effective rate of the group of acupuncture scalp and body was93.33%.The comparison of the clinical efficacy was proved valid by comparison.(P<0.01), which indicates the clinical efficacy of experiment group was better than the control group.Comparison of Neurologic Deficits Score:The Neurologic Deficits Score of both group reduced obvious compared with before treatment, which proved valid by comparison(P<0.01). The comparison of the difference between two groups were proved valid by comparison(P<0.01). That suggests the group of sihua points acupuncture was better than the group of scalp and body acupuncture on reducing Neurologic Deficits Score.Comparison of Barthel Index:The Barthel Index of both group promoted obvious compared with before treatment, which proved valid by comparison(P<0.01). The comparison of the difference between two groups were proved valid by comparison(P<0.01). That suggests the group of sihua points acupuncture was better than the group of scalp and body acupuncture on promoting Barthel Index.ConclusionThe clinical efficacy of sihua points with scalp and body acupuncture was better than those which of just scalp and body acupuncture, especially in the recovery of limb function. This treatment provides a new way based on routine treatment of hemiplegia, which is simple and easy, good efficacy, treatment effect is lasting. It can be widely used in clinical application.
