Find out the effect of the main factors to the prognosis and prevention countermeasures of cervical spondylosis, etc.MethodsRefer to the medical records of the patient in massage department in Foshan hospital of traditional Chinese medicine during may,2013-December2013. Select all eligible patients with cervical spondylosis, complete the questionnaire about the clinical factors to the cervical spondylosis. And collect the date under the guidance of physician in the massage department. The data include of the tape of cervical spondylosis, the syndrome of traditional Chinese medicine, duration and auxiliary examinations. Double check the diagnosis and auxiliary examinations again. Put all the data to the computer with the Epidata3.1. Then use SPSS13.0for statistical analysis.ResultsThis study includes135cases, of which46cases of male patients (34%),89cases of female patients (66%). The maximum age of all cases is83; The minimum age is22years old. The average age was49.44±13.03years old. Among the youth, there are more male patients than female, and there are more female patients than male in middle-aged and elderly. Differences are statistically significant (P<0.05).The top of factors to the cervical spondylosis are high pillow sleeping, long-term use of computer, working at desk, lack of physical exercise, neck fatigue history, long-term use of mobile phones, often drive, repeating the same movement at work and the pillow is too low. There are statistical differences between long-term use of computer, working at desk and the type of cervical spondylosis. Compared with other types, there are higher rates of long-term use of computer, working at desk in the patient with vertebral artery type or Mixed type of cervical spondylosis. There are statistical differences between long-term use of computer, high pillow sleeping and the type of cervical spondylosis. There are statistical differences between working at desk and the recrudescence of cervical spondylosis. In the patient with the recrudescence of cervical spondylosis, there are much higher rate of working at desk than other. There are120cases with data of CT or MR. The most common the imaging features are the proliferation of osteophyte in cervical vertebra, the change of cervical curvature index and cervical disc herniation. There are statistical differences between long-term use of computer, working at desk and the change of cervical curvature index. There are statistical differences between working at desk and cervical disc herniation.ConelusionThis study shows that the onset of cervical spondylosis is not only related to the age, sex, occupation, but also related to the work and lifestyle factors, such as high pillow sleeping, long-term use of computer, working at desk, lack of physical exercise, neck fatigue history, long-term use of mobile phones, often drive, repeating the same movement at work and the pillow is too low. The factors of long-term uses of computer and working at desk have greater effects on the cervical spondylosis. With long-term uses of computer and working at desk, the patients show more change of cervical curvature index and cervical disc herniation, have longer duration of cervical spondylosis and more easily to recurrence. And the patients with cervical spondylosis show mental tension, anxiety and insomnia much. At the same time the cervical spondylosis may have some interactions with spinal disease.
