ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect on Chronic fatigue syndrome of liver depression and spleen deficiency by using thread embedding therapy with Shu Mu combination.MethodsSixty three patients, diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome typed liver stagnation and spleen deficiency, were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group:Thread embedding therapy with Shu Mu Combination;the control group:the group taken xiaoyao pills. The points in Treatment group: gan point, pi point, qi men point, zhang men point. The patients in treatment Group were treated once every15day and2times as one course, and there were three days between2courses. The patients in control group were taken xiaoyaopill,8pills at a time, three times a day, for a month for a period of treatment, taking three courses. After3courses of treatment, therapeutic effect was tested. FS-14and the scale on liver depression and spleen deficient were used to grade the results and detect patients’changes before and after the treatment. The overall effect of two groups were assessed by FAI. The effect before and after the treatment were compared in one group and the effect between the two groups were compared to make statistical analysis.ResultsThe treatment group:the total effective rate was90%; the control group: the total effective rate was86.7%. However, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). After treatment, in FS-14and the scale on liver depression and spleen deficient, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01) each group; Compared two groups, in FS-14the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01) and in the scale on liver depression and spleen deficient the difference was statistical(P<0.05), for the treatment group than the control group.ConclusionBoth two methods have therapeutic effect on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome typed Liver depression and Spleen deficiency;but, the difference of the total effective rate was not statistically significant. On the improvement of the symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome typed Liver depression and Spleen deficiency, the treatment group was obviously superior to the control group. |
