Objective:To investigate the clinical observation of percutaneous Kirschner radial elasticity improved efficacy of external fixation of fractures of the humerus in children early closed reduction. Reduce complications of fractures of humerus in children methods. Provide a theoretical basis for the change in the internal fixation methods in clinical improvement and treatment concepts. Methods:A retrospective analysis of74cases of children suffered from supracondylar fracture of humerus is involved in the department of Orthopaedics, Baodi Clinical College Affiliated to Tianjin Medical University from2010.1to2013.6.The cases were randomly divided into two groups of two kinds of surgeries programs, including group A (all closed reduction and percutaneous Kirschner cross outside a single fixed)40cases and group B (all be closed reduction and percutaneous Kirschner radial elasticity improved external fixation)34cases. Comparison of the two groups of cases operative time, postoperative rehabilitation, the cubitus varus incidence of complications and clinical efficacy with statistical software. Results:Group B were better than group A in the postoperative rehabilitation, reduce the incidence of complications cubitus varus and clinical efficacy. Conclusion:Supracondylar fractures should be displaced children early, closed reduction and Kirschner wire fixation surgery. Kirschner radial elasticity improved external fixation methods for fracture healing provides a more stable environment, strengthen the role of anti-rotation, while the outer elbow tension band can play the role, in line with the biomechanical and AO tension band principle, significantly reduced the incidence of cubitus varus. Postoperative generally without plaster immobilization, and early functional exercises conducted elbow, reducing elbow function is lost. This method is simple, economical, shorter hospital stay, postoperative need antibiotics, but also to avoid the occurrence of iatrogenic ulnar nerve injury.
