Clinical Research Of The Treatment Of The Device Of Nourishing Qi, Eliminating Phlegm And Eliminating Stagnation In The Elderly Medium Or Late Non-small Cell Lung

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of the device of Nourishing Qi Eliminating Phlegm and Eliminating stagnation in the elderly medium or late non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods60elderly patients with a diagnosis of advanced NSCLC which met the inclusion standard were divided randomly into three groups. The20patients in group I were treated with Jin Fu An Decoction(JFAD); the20patients in groupⅡwere treated with JFAD and chemotherapy(GP or TC or DP); and the20patients in group Ⅲ were treated with chemotherapy only. The efficacy of therapy would be evaluated after two couses of treatment according to the change of the weight, tumor, clinical symptom and the adverse reaction.ResultsIn the aspect of the quality of life, group Ⅰ had better efficacy than group Ⅲ(p<0.05). It was descibled that the JFAD had the potention to improve the quality of life. Through comparing the change of the blood parameters after the therapy, group Ⅰ and groupⅡ had better effect in the stability of WBC, HGB and PLT than groupⅢ. In the research, the incidence of the nousea and vomiting could be obviously reduced in group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ(p<0.05). and there was the tend to decrease the incidence of diarrhea. In the aspect of weight, the group Ⅰ had the better effect than group Ⅲ, and there was no significant difference between group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ. It proved that JFAD had the potentiality to gain weight. In the aspect of tumor, the group I was obviously different from group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ(p<0.05), and there were no significant difference between group Ⅱand group Ⅲ. In the aspect of symptoms, group Ⅱand group Ⅲ had more advantage than group Ⅰ in remission of pectoralgia(p<0.05). Group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ had more advantage in remission of polypnea and debility than group Ⅲ (p<0.05). and there was statistical significance between group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ. So the JFAD could obviously improve the symptom of lung cancer. And there was no significant difference in febrility.ConclusionThe JFAD could improve the quality of life and the symptom of the the elderly medium or late NSCLC, especially in the aspect of polypnea and debility. Combinating with chemotherapy, the JFAD could obviously reduce the adverse reaction of chemotherapy, especially in the aspect of the nousea and vomiting. Furthermore, The JFSD clould stabilize the tumor, and it would be more effective when combinating with chemotherapy.
