Clinical Research On The Effect Of Ginseng And Astragalus Righting Injection On Cancer-related Fatigue

ObjectiveIt is to investigate the effect of Ginseng and astragalus righting injection on the cancer-related fatigue, seek solutions to cancer-related fatigue and effective therapy, and to explore the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine therapy.Method48cases of cancer patients in our hospital were randomly divided into treatment and control groups. In the treatment group, patients were treated with Ginseng and astragalus righting injection, syndromes differentiation and Western symptomatic treatment, the control group received the treatment with syndromes differentiation and Western symptomatic treatment, the course of treatment was10days. To the Piper fatigue points before and after treatment, blood analysis, to observe the immune indexes such as the change of the indicators. And SPSS19.0software was adopted to carry out the data processing and analyses. Measurement data comparison using t test; Count data by chi-square test, P<0.05was statistically significant.Results1. Before the treatment, there is no significant difference in statistics on the fatigue total score and the subordinate four dimensions-the behavior fatigue, the emotional fatigue, the body fatigue and cognitive fatigue between two groups (P>0.05). After the treatment. Both the fatigue total score and the subordinate four dimension scores lowed, and furthermore there were a statistically significant difference on the fatigue total score and the previous three dimension scores between the two groups(P<0.05). 2. In the treatment group, white blood cells, lymphocytes, platelet and hemoglobin were higher than before treatment which did not show statistically significant differences(P>0.05) but hemoglobin3. The impact on the peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets:①after treatment, the total T cells (CD3+), Th cells (CD3+, CD4+) were higher Ts cells (CD3+CD8+)was decreased in the treatment group, but there were no statistically significant differences (P>0.05). NK cells increased obviously in the treatment group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).②after treatment treatment group compared with control group,the total T cells (CD3+), Th cells (CD3+, CD4+) and NK cells were higher, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).4. The effective rate of fatigue symptoms total score between the two groups were83.33%and45.83%, respectively, by the chi-square test, two groups of TCM symptoms differ significantly (P<0.05)5. In the the treatment group, KPS score was significantly higher than before treatment(P<0.05), Body Weight showed a rising trend but had no significant difference (P>0.05)ConclusionsGinseng and astragalus righting injection can effectively improve the cancer-related fatigue of non-small cell lung cancer with qi deficiency type of syndrome, enhance immunity, improve the quality of life of patients, it was worthy of promotion and application.
