ObjectiveEvaluating objectively the clinical effects of Chinese Medicine dialectical treating viral respiratory infection, providing a clinical research basis for forming a Chinese Medicine standardization diagnosis and treatment of viral respiratory infection.MethodsBy randomized controlled methods, choosing the patients seeing the doctor and who in our hospital emergency and respiratory departments from April,2013to April,2014, dividing them into treatment group and control group by random numbers from computer, both could be given symptomatic treatment when necessary (body temperature below38.5degree:Ice cooling; above38.5degree: Ibuprofen oral suspension to bring down the fever and fluid infusion symptomatic supporting treatment). The treatment group will be treated dialectically with the Chinese Medicine treatment method of orally taking Traditional Chinese medicine decoction scheduled by the Research Team; the control group will be treated with Oseltamivir orally. Treatment will take10days, after which, both would be followed up by call on the7th day and14th day. Observing the index differentiation of Chinese medicine Syndrome integral, the clinical comprehensive therapeutic effect, and comparison of the negative rate of common respiratory viral antigen, etc., also the medicine of safety index.Results1. General situation analysis:Collecting33viral pneumonia patients in the Research,3cases under treatment, which would not be used for statistical analysis.30cases treatment completed.16patients in the treatment group, their ages distribution from21to85years old, the average duration is7.5days;14patients in the control group, their ages distribution from31to79years old, the average duration is7.4days. The occurring rate of viral pneumonia is much higher among the mental workers, which is76.7%.2cases (6.7%) have poultry exposure history before the disease. The syndrome of disease involving weifen and qifen is mostly occurring in the Traditional Chinese medicine syndromes (total60%), secondly is excessive heat at qi phase (36.7%), the syndrome of flaring heat in qifen and yingfen is the least (3.3%). According to the inspection, there is no statistical significance of all the baseline difference compared data for both.2. The comparison of clinical comprehensive therapeutic effects assessments:The average pyretdysis days of the treatment group is2.75days, the control group is2.93days, there is no statistical significance for the difference of both. The total effective rate of the treatment group is100%, of control group is88.9%, the former better than the latter, but both are no statistical significance (P>0.05), prompting the comprehensive therapeutic effects of Chinese medicine is same as the Oseltamivir control group.3. The main symptoms score comparison:Compared with before treatment the main symptom score of two groups patients showed a gradual downward trend at each time point after treatment, and a statistically significant difference (P<0.01), prompting that the two groups treatments all could alleviate the main symptom; both are no statistical significance at each time point (P>0.05), prompting the reducing the clinical symptom effects of the Chinese medicine is same as the Oseltamivir group.4. The comparison of the negative rate of common respiratory viral antigen: The negative rate of two groups becomes100%reviewing after treatment.5.The Absorption situation of Pneumonia Chest X-ray:the scores of treatment group is1.54±0.88, lower than that of control group,2.08±1.32. But the comparison of Pneumonia Chest X-ray absorption situation indicates that both are no statistical significance after treatment indicated.6. The comparison of evalating clinical comprehensive therapeutic effect: the total effective rate of treatment group is100%, the control group is92.3%, the former is higher than the latter. But both are no statistical significance (P>0.05)7.3adverse events occurring during treatment,1case with asthma history, attacked by pneumonia, which was better after symptomatic treatment;1patient’s electrocardiogram indicating ST-T abnormally, no heart attack history or related symptom during research;1patient with kidney stone history, occurring hematuria in routine urine test microscopically. According inspection, the above3adverse events is nothing with this research after diagnosing. There is no obvious abnormality among the rest cases safety index, including the three conventional, liver function renal function, electrocardiogram, etc., prompting this research has a high safety. Conelusion:Diagnosing and treating viral pneumonia by Chinese medicine defensive energy nutrients and blood method has achieved a good clinical effects, which can lighten the clinical symptoms, promoting the absorption of inflammation in lung, negating the respiratory viral antigen in patients, and it’s of safe. The Research indicates that the Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnosing and treating viral pneumonia is safe and effective, but so far, the cases is relatively not enough, has yet to enlarge the cases to study future, as to form a Chinese Medicine standardization of diagnosing and treating viral pneumonia in the future.
