ObjectiveTo development and evaluation TCM Liver Disease Psychosomatic Self-reported Questionaire according to the psychology of TCM theory named Harmonizatio, and to examine the reliability and validity of the questionnaire. Provide an effective auxiliary diagnostic tool for the liver disease in TCM.MethodsOn the physiological and psychological characteristics to design the questionnaire according to the TCM theory named Harmonizatio for the liver. Using the interview method and literature analysis method to draft the items pool, and determine the initial questionnaire. Using the preliminary of questionnaire, assessed the liver disease patients and health people, analysised the data of and determined the formal testing questionnaire. Selecting101liver disease patients in TCM from the First Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine University Of Guangzhou and Guangdong TCM Hospital, as comparison, selecting149health people from Guangzhou, and then assessing them with the initial questionnaire to determine the formal testing questionnaire Then, selecting483liver disease patients in TCM and562health people assessing them with the formal testing questionnaire. Marked100liver disease patients and100health people, and retested then after2~4weeks. The validity, reliability and the scores of two groups of the questionnaire would be analyzed. Selecting100liver disease patients in TCM with the TCM Liver Disease Psychosomatic Self-reported Questionaire. The validity and reliability would be analyzed again.ResultsThe initial questionnaire survey:the critical value between3.46-11.76, item correlation between0.20~0.50items and the total score of the questionnaire, correlation between0.44~0.70, delete6items,39items were reserved. The formal testing questionnaire survey:validity test shows that the formal testing questionnaire consists of26items, and divideds into the Ganshicangxue, Ganshishuxie, Irritability, Delibration, Stubborn and tolerance. The correlation coefficient is between0.30~0.65with factors, and the correlation coefficient is between0.39~0.64with the factors and the questionnaire. The items load between0.50~0.75, explain55.02%of total variance. Confirmatory factor analysis shows that the questionnaire is the first six factor model, the fitting parameter values χ2/df=2.20, RMR=0.04, RMSEA=0.04, GFI=0.94, AGFI=0.93, NNFI=0.92, NFI=0.90, CFI=0.93, IFI=0.93. Chronic Liver Disease Questionnaire of each factor, total score and the formal testing questionnaire of each factor, total correlation coefficient are between0.21-0.73. Coefficient of internal consistency reliability test shows that the Cronbach’s a and the retest reliability are0.90and0.89, respectively, each factor of internal consistency coefficient are between0.65-0.84, retest reliability are between0.75~0.90. Liver disease patients in TCM and healthy people in the total score of the formal testing questionnaire (t=14.71), and each factor score (t=14.63, t=11.16, t=9.65, t=7.34, t=4.89, t=8.33) differences statistically significant (P<0.01). The TCM Liver Disease Psychosomatic Self-reported Questionaire’s analysis results of the Cronbach’s a is0.91, each factor is between0.69~0.86. The factor correlation analysis shows that the correlation coefficient between each factor between0.20-0.60, and the correlation between the factor and the total score between0.45~0.60. The items load between0.47~0.75, explain56.59%. of total variance.ConclusionThe TCM Liver Disease Psychosomatic Self-reported Questionaire has good psychometrics properties, consists of26items, and divideds into the Ganshicangxue, Ganshishuxie, Irritability, Delibration, Stubborn and tolerance, shows the first six factor model. It is an effective auxiliary diagnostic tools can be used as a traditional Chinese medicine liver disease.
