Effect Of Ozone Autohemotherapy Treatment On Serum IL-2and IL-6Levels In Patients With HZ And PHN

Objective:To investigate the influence of ozone autohemotherapy treatment(O3-AHT) on serum interleukin-2(IL-2) and interleukin-6(IL-6) levels in patients with herpes zoster (HZ) and post-herpetic neuralgia(PHN).Methods:Selection total of60patients with herpes zoster and post-herpetic neuralgia treatment with the basis of conventional drug treatment combined with ozone autohemotherapy treatment(every other day,total ten times),serum levels of IL-2and IL-6were measured before and after ozone autohemotherapy treatment.Results:The serum level of IL-2before and after ozone autohemotherapy treatment are2.51±0.79ng/ml and3.52±0.75ng/ml, the serum level of IL-2significantly increased than before treatment (P＜0.05). The serum level of IL-6before and after ozone autohemotherapy treatment are243.61±47.85pg/ml and118.41±54.12pg/ml, the serum level of IL-6significantly reduced than before treatment (P＜0.01).Conclusion:Ozone autohemotherapy treatment can significantly increased of IL-2,significantly reduced of IL-6and has adjust the immune function in patients with herpes zoster and post-herpetic neuralgia.
