There is a statistically difference of effectiveness of blood pressure control between the hypertension patients who participated in Self-Management and were not participate in self-management group. The concrete data are:there are39.8percent of Self-Management hypertension patients and21.5percent of Unself-Management hypertension patients were blood pressure controlled well, while there are60.2percent of Self-Management hypertension patients and78.5percent of Unself-Management hypertension patients were not blood pressure controlled well. The chi-square test, the difference was statistically significant (x2=6.135, P=0.013). The influencing factors of effect of blood pressure control are:group, age, alcohol consumption, know retinopathy complications of hypertension. Hypertension self-management patients knowing basic knowledge of hypertension were statistically superior to who did not participate in self-management, knowledge such as high blood pressure standard, adult daily salt intake, high blood pressure complications:nephropathy, retinopathy, myocardial infarction, hypertension, treatment of life:quit alcohol limit, low salt and maintain stable attitude, regular exercise is conducive to stable blood pressure.
