Research background:Cerebral infarct (CI) is a group of the combined effect of multiple risk factors for the disease, the pathogenesis of genetic polymorphisms may be one of cerebral infarct. Apolipoprotein E (Apolipoprotein E, ApoE) is mainly present in the plasma of certain lipoproteins, is a direct glycoprotein involved in cholesterol metabolism by low-density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor and low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein (LRP) involved in regulation of lipid metabolism and cholesterol balance, concentration of lipids in adults. ApoE involved in brain phospholipid metabolism, maintain a steady redistribution of intercellular lipids and cholesterol in the environment. Some recent studies show that is closely related to the occurrence of apolipoprotein E gene polymorphism and cerebrovascular disease, but because of the impact of race, region, age and other factors which exhibit different performance. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between the Minority Nationalities Research Wa apolipoprotein E gene polymorphism and cerebral infarction (CI), and patients with cerebral infarction were compared with the Han.Research approach:①. Choose Lincang area four hospitals (Lincang Gengma County Hospital, Cangyuan County Hospital, Lincang City Second People’s Hospital, Yun County County Hospital) diagnosed by CT Wa cerebral infarction (CI) patients with54cases carry the apolipoprotein E (ApoE) gene polymorphism polymorphism analysis, patients were selected Wa:onset between the ages of40to 80years;26male patients and28female patients, The mean age (59.00±7.75) years old. Select Wa healthy people as a control group56cases, of which27were males,29females, mean age (56.64±8.29) years old; choose55cases of cerebral infarction as Han case-control group,27were males,28were females, The mean age (56.96±8.29) years old.②Using polymerase chain reaction (Polymerase chain reaction, PCR) Apolipoprotein E polymorphism analysis.③On the positive and negative samples for gene sequencing test.④The results were to be the case group and the control group, patients with cerebral infarction group and Han population, lipids between different groups were compared separately。Results:1. In gene frequency in ε3Wa population infarction was69, accounting for63.9%, followed by ε4was35, accounting for32.4%, ε2is4, accounting for3.7%; Han population cerebral infarction ε3gene frequencies of64, accounting for58.2%, followed by ε440; accounting for36.4%. ε2is6, accounting for5.5%; in Wa normal control group, s3is98, accounting for87.5%, followed by ε4is11, accounting for9.8%, s2is3, accounting for2.8%. Allele frequencies between the three groups performed chi-square test, χ2=23.64, P<0.01, statistically significant, the difference was significant. Wa and Han population’s cerebral infarction compared with the control group,χ2=0.38, P>0.05, not statistically significant, allele no difference Between Wa’s CI group and normal control group for comparison, χ2=16.96, P <0.01, statistically significant, there are significant differences.2. Alleles ε2, ε3, ε4carry cholesterol, triglycerides and LDL is not the same among the three groups analysis of variance, P<0.050, the difference was statistically significant. Pairwise comparison between the two groups:ε2and ε3compare P <0.050, statistically significant, ε2carry TC, TG than ε3carry high, ε3carry LDL-C higher than ε2; ε2and ε4comparison, P<0.010, statistically significant, the difference was significant. Which carry the ε4TC and LDL-C were higher than ε2, s2carry TG higher than e4; ε3and e4compare, P<0.010, statistically significant, the difference was significant, which ε4carrying TC and LDL-C higher than ε3, ε3carry TG higher than ε4. Conclusion:1. Cerebral infarction of Wa population concentrated in the age of onset between40-80years old, men and women, no significant difference,in the incidence of this distribution of domestic and international studies similar.2. ApoE gene polymorphism Wa populationg ethnic minority in Yunnan unique and close relationship with cerebral infarct, ε4allele is a genetic risk of cerebral infarction, cerebral Han is also a genetic risk, ε3allele may be protective gene infarction, polymorphism no significant differences between ApoE gene and Han Wa cerebral infarction.3. By gene sequencing can be found:the gene length, location and gene sequences in between of Wa and Han population are no significant difference.4.ApoE gene polymorphisms influence blood lipid levels, lipid metabolism disorder increased incidence of cerebral infarct risk.
