ObjectiveThis study is based on the cases of concussions combine traditional Chinese and Western medicine clinical research and observation of treatment, combination treatment of sequelae of cerebral concussion patients reflects the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, evaluation of TCM treatment of Post-concussion syndrome(PCS) the role and significance, and provide scientific basis for the Chinese medicine treatment of cerebral concussionMethodsWill meet the inclusion criteria of patients according to the method of simple random divided into treatment group and control group, the control group received routine therapy, the treatment group on the basis of conventional therapy plus traditional Chinese medicine treatment, no less than2weeks of medication, clinical data recorded in two cases (age, gender, cause of injury, coma time, injury to hospitalization time), to observe the two groups of patients (Electroencephalogram, EEG) examination and Rivermead brain concussion syndrome questionnaire (The Rivermead Post-concussion Symptoms Questionnaire, RPQ) score, cure standard score, analysis of the results, the conclusion. ResultsIncluded in the study were65cases,59cases were finally completed follow-up, follow-up rate was90.77%.1. Two groups of patients with general information (age, gender, cause of injury, coma time, injury to the treatment time, the first EEG findings, the first RPQ scores) were not statistically significant (p>0.05), can proceed to the next step research.2. In the treatment group and control group after treatment3,7,14days of EEG results, the RPQ survey scores and cure standard scores were significant differences (p<0.05);3. The score of EEG and RPQ survey and cure standard scores of thirtieth days treatment of treatment group and control group were not significant difference (p>0.05);Treatment group compared with the control group, the brain function of patients with faster recovery, sequelae of cerebral concussion is more likely to ease,30days after the two groups of cerebral concussion patients had different degrees of ease, both of them the brain function recovery, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups. ConclusionTherapeutic interventions should be as soon as possible to the cerebral concussion patients, and the use of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of ideology to guide treatment, can have a positive effect on alleviating brain concussion syndrome. Proved by research, combining Chinese and Western medicine treatment of brain concussion syndrome than simple western medicine therapy is more effective, and promote the recovery of cerebral function in early.
