ObjectiveThis study intervened parkinsonian rats with traditional Chinese medicine prescription Shengjiangsan and conducted behavioral evaluation before and after intervention, as well as detected the neurotransmitters α-synuclein and the number of tyrosine hydroxylase positive cells. in the rat brain, in order to explore the effect of Shengjiangsan on the Parkinsonian ratsto provide new treatment and experimental evidence for Parkinson’s disease.Methods50SPF SD male rats from SouthernMedical University were randomly assigned to five groups, namely the normal group, solvent control group, model group, dopamine group and Shengjiangsan group. Each group included10rats. The latter four groups weremade model with rotenone and sunflower oil mixture, respectively given saline, madopar, Shengjiangsan decoction to gavage for14days, then evaluated on behavioral outcomes, finally decapitated and taken their brains. Adopted ELISA to detectdopamine and acetylcholine levels in the substantianigra andstriatum and drew blood from hearts to detect homocysteine. The fluorescence of PCR was detected in the alpha synuclein.ResultsThis study showed that the hanging residence time of model group, Shengjiangsan group and dopamine group were shorter thannormal group and solvent control group (P<0.05). Ramp experiments suggested thatthere was statistical difference in thestand points between model group, Shengjiangsan group, dopamine group and normal group, solvent control group (P<0.05).Shengjiangsan group was detected more dopamine than normal group, and the neurotransmitter of dopamine group and Shengjiangsan group were significantly higher than model group (P<0.05), while madopar group was close to Shengjiangsan groups. Acetylcholine tests showed Shengjiangsan powder, the dobutamine group contrast model group had no significant difference,.(P>0.05), Normal group and solvent control group have significant difference with model group, with statistical significance (P<0.05), Homocysteine detection tip s There was significant difference between Shengjiangsan groups and model group respectively,(P<0.05)。on the other hand, model group and dopamine group had no significant difference respectively.(P<0.01).There was no significant difference between the dopamine and elevator group.The model group and the normal group, the solvent group increased significantly (P<0.05), there was statistical significance above them. There was a statistically significant difference between Shengjiangsan group and model group.ConelusionShengjiangsan can improve the symptoms of rotenone-induced rat model of Parkinson’s and the outcomes of rat behaviorevaluation to some degree, Shengjiangsan can reduce the Overexpression of alpha synuclein and protectdopamine neurons of rat brains to some degree.
