Objective:To observe the expression of CD34and CD44v6in adenomyosis, and explore the significance in the pathogenesis of adenomyosis.Method:The expression of CD34(MVD) and CD44v6was detected by the immunohistochemistry in the ectopic and eutopic endometrium of40cases with adenomyosis and in the normal endometrium of10cases.Results:1.The MVD were43.58±9.28%,30.95±6.66%and9.40±3.06%in ectopic, eutopic and normal endometriums, respectively, there were significant differences among three groups(all P<0.05); The MVD was32.65±6.41%,29.25±6.63%in secretory and hyperplasia phase of eutopic endometrium, there was significant difference between two groups(P<0.05); The MVD in hyperplasia and secretory phase of normal endometrium, there was no significant difference between groups(P>0.05).2.The expression of CD44v6were33.73±8.22%,26.65±7.73%and13.10±6.97%, in ectopic, eutopic and normal endometrium, respectively, there were significant differences among three groups(all P<0.05);The expression of CD44v6was27.45±7.86%,25.85±7.72%in secretory and hyperplasia phase of eutopic endometrium, there was significant difference between two groups(P<0.05);The expression of CD44v6in hyperplasia and secretory phase of normal endometrium, there was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).3.There is a positive correlation between the expression of CD34and CD44v6in ectopic and eutopic endometrium of adennomyosis (r=0.6962,P<0.05).Conclusion:Upregulation expression of CD34and CD44v6in adenomyosis, and the higher expression in secretory phase than that in hyperplasia phase were that ectopic endometrium promote angiogenesis, conducive to the growth of ectopic endometrium, and its related to the cyclical of endometrial.CD34and CD44v6may be commomon to correlared with the pathogenesis and biological behavior of AM.
